Content Writer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Description Writing: Create and manage high-quality, persuasive product descriptions that resonate with our target audience, capturing unique product features and benefits.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for product listings, category pages, and website sections to increase engagement and sales.
  • Product Descriptions: Write and oversee the creation of clear, compelling, and accurate product descriptions that highlight unique product features and drive conversions.
  • SEO Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, including the use of relevant keywords, meta, and SEO-friendly formatting.
  • Content Calendar: Manage and maintain a content calendar, coordinating with marketing and merchandising teams to align content with business objectives and seasonal trends.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers, ensuring the consistency and quality of content across all platforms.
  • Content Audits: Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps and opportunities, ensuring all product information is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with brand guidelines.
  • Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools to monitor content performance, track KPIs, and make data-driven improvements to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with SEO specialists, designers, and product managers to ensure cohesive branding and content alignment.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in eCommerce content writing, with a focus on product description writing and SEO content creation.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices for eCommerce.
  • Strong command of the English language, with attention to detail, grammar, and the ability to adapt to the brand voice.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of writers or content creators.
  • Ability to use data insights to improve content strategies and achieve higher engagement and conversion rates.
  • Preferably in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.

 

The ideal candidate should have experience in writing product descriptions.
